Unlike traditional watercolour, Derwent Inktense pencils have been uniquely formulated in vivid ink-like colours, offering exceptional layering capability without moving previously dried layers. Inktense can also be used on more than just paper; due to the staining power of the pigments, you can use the pencils on many porous surfaces including canvas, ceramic, wood and fabric.
