Due to the unprecedented global health emergency we are facing we have had to take the decision to change the way we hold the Derwent Art Prize exhibition this year, showcasing the selected artworks across a variety of digital platforms – enabling us to reach audiences all over the world. We believe in the power of art to lift our spirits and bring joy and we hope that the fantastic work featured in this exhibition can do just that.
Derwent is proud to announce that the fifth instalment of the Derwent Art Prize is NOW open for virtual viewing! For the first time ever the exhibition is being shown online. Go to the Virtual Gallery to browse the 70 shortlisted works of art.
It will be opening at gallery@oxo, London and 20 Rue Saint Claude, Paris in due course (early 2021) but until then we hope you enjoy the virtual exhibition.

We had 4756 entries this year for the Derwent Art Prize. It was a huge but enjoyable task for our three judges, Alice Rawsthorn, Victoria Pomery and Charles Avery, to shortlist the final 70 works that represent 13 different countries.
