The Derwent Art Prize 2020 UPDATE

Due to the unprecedented global health emergency we are facing we have had to take the decision to change the way we hold the Derwent Art Prize exhibition this year, showcasing the selected artworks across a variety of digital platforms – enabling us to reach audiences all over the world. We believe in the power of art to lift our spirits and bring joy and we hope that the fantastic work featured in this exhibition can do just that.

Derwent is proud to announce that the fifth instalment of the Derwent Art Prize is NOW open for virtual viewing! For the first time ever the exhibition is being shown online. Click here to browse the 70 shortlisted works of art.

It will be opening at gallery@oxo, London and 20 Rue Saint Claude, Paris in due course (early 2021) but until then we hope you enjoy the virtual exhibition. Some key dates for your calendar:

22nd April – The first and second place prize winners and the young artist prize winners (x2) will be announced on the 22nd April at 18.00 BST.
1st May – Voting for the People's Choice Awards will close at midday on the 1st May and will be announced on the 12th May.
12th May – Announcement of the People’s Choice Award (2 winners) at 18.00 BST.
