Jesse's goal is to advance coloured pencil as a fine art medium. He began drawing in high school after my art teacher told him I was the worst in the class. That said, he has always loved art and has worked daily to hone his draughtsmanship skills.
Since launching his professional art career in 2015, his portraits have won many best-of-show awards, including the Salmagundi Club's Annual Non-Member Exhibition, competing against some of America's top painters and sculptors. His artwork has been on the cover of The Artist's Magazine with the headline "Colored Pencil Cracks the Fine Art Ceiling.” He is represented by RJD Gallery in Bridgehampton, New York, USA.
