A professional artist whose work is hung in venues around the world, Tony has a reputation of some note as a tutor and demonstrator with an easy to follow relaxed style; guiding others on their artistic path when asked.
Initially trained at Bradford Regional Collage of Art in the early sixties he has had the good fortune of devoting his life to art. First successfully working in the commercial world of advertising and graphic’s before moving on in the early seventies to concentrate on developing his own original works of art.
With a lifetime of experience as a working artist Tony has an extensive knowledge of media and techniques but still seeks to gain more.
This vast knowledge is then shared with all who attend the art holiday courses he runs nationally and at the frequent demonstrations and workshops to art societies around the U.K. On behalf of leading art material manufacturers/ importers /suppliers Tony also demonstrates at major trade shows plus several television appearances.
A prolific painter who exhibits in several galleries he is a retired degree tutor for the Open College of the Arts, a professional of the Society of all Artists.
Alongside this busy lifestyle he writes for leading art magazines with articles regularly published in Leisure Painter, Paint, The Artist and Artist & Illustrators.
