The new Derwent Black Sketch Pads are available in 3 popular sizes; A3 Landscape, A4 portrait and A5 Portrait. Each one contains 20 pages of 200gsm, heavyweight black paper which is very resilient and will take a minimum of 10 layers of pencil before the surface begins to deteriorate. It can also be used with water- soluble pencils for light washes, ideal for landscapes. The front covers of the new Black Sketch Pads feature a delightful image of a family of polar bears drawn by pencil artist Michelle Law.
Black paper really brings coloured pencil art work to life making subjects appear even more colourful and vibrant. The bright, intense colours of Derwent Metallic, Coloursoft and Inktense Pencils are particularly enhanced when used on black paper.
